Responsibilities |

Treat patients of all ages, sizes, abilities and diagnoses |

Provide thorough evaluations for a wide range of diagnoses |

Continue to advance patient treatment plans to keep patients challenged and progressing towards goals |

Maintain communication with referring physicians regarding patient care, when needed |
 |
Provide a personalized and applicable home exercise program to patients |
 |
Complete other duties as assigned |
Requirements |
 |
Prior experience as a physical therapist preferred, but not required |
 |
Candidate should be open to advancing education, particularly through the Ola Grimsby Institute (OGI) |
 |
Reputable and applicable work history |
 |
Candidate should have the work ethic and attitude to do whatever it takes to provide the best possible physical therapy experience for every patient |
 |
Candidate must be willing to work at both STLPT's Chesterfield and Fenton clinics |

The STLPT Student PT Tech is a great opportunity for a PT student looking to get clinical experience in an outpatient setting. STLPT is looking for a highly motivated person to assist with various clinic responsibilities. |
Responsibilities |

Assist Staff Therapists with exercise instruction and monitoring |
 |
Assist full time staff in beginning patient treatments, making sure to follow Therapist orders and protocols |
 |
Lend a helping hand in performing various office and clerical duties, as needed. |
 |
Instruct patient in home exercise programs, per Therapist instructions. |
 |
Assist in maintaining clinic cleanliness |
 |
Complete other duties as assigned |
Requirements |
 |
Must be current Physical Therapy student or |
 |
Have a degree with an exercise and/or anatomy background |
 |
Candidate should have the work ethic and attitude to do whatever it takes to provide the best possible physical therapy experience for every patient |

Desire to go above and beyond what is asked |
